Feast of Tabernacles Weekend: Oct 19th & 20th

Welcome to Feast of Tabernacles weekend: If you are new to The River Church please allow one of our Connection team members to briefly meet & greet you in front of the marketplace after service tonight. We’re so glad you’ve joined us tonight; please join us again Saturdays at 6:30pm.
 
RiverCity Kidz Check-in: Parents, No older kids (6-11 yrs old) class Saturday; just toddlers (1-5 yrs old). Please make sure to sign in your children by the kiosk beside the sanctuary door in the Welcome Center any time during the beginning of service. Sign-in is mandatory for participation in RiverCity Kidz. No children’s ministry this Sunday.
 
FEAST OF TABERNACLES: Tabernacles, or Sukkot is the seventh and last feast of the Lord. It is a memorial to the time the Lord brought the children of Israel out of Egypt when they dwelt in tents in the wilderness. It’s also a prophetic image of how the Messiah will come dwell with us and redeem us to Himself. It foreshadows Yeshua’s return when He will tabernacle with us eternally and for the rest of time.
This weekend, we have a marketplace with Pastor Joshua’s Fall Feast series of teachings from this year, packaged with the CDs; books, bookmarks and jewelry made by our own members; and items from Israel. On Sunday, we have a raffle, a catered dinner, and congregational dancing with the Torah as we rejoice with lulav & etrog. A First Fruits love offering will be received.
 
Feast of Tabernacles, Day 8 Dinner: Sunday, Oct. 20 at 5:00 pm., doors open at 4:00 pm. Tickets are required; registration is closed, and the event is sold out. If you have a ticket, please make every effort to attend!
 
First Fruits: If you didn’t get the opportunity to give your First Fruits this Fall Feast season, you are welcome to fill out a separate envelope tonight just for First Fruits. Please use a separate envelope from your tithes and offerings and place it in the appropriately labeled bucket. Please enter the amount beside the First Fruits category, which is the second line on the envelope, and indicate payment type. You may text any amount to 360-205-1558, followed by the word First, or give online at www.theriverchurchnw.com/giving and click on “Firstfruits” from the Fund drop down menu.
 
Fall Feasts Teaching Series: Pastor Joshua has been teaching us about each of the Fall Feasts during the regular services. Over the weekend, we will learn about the final day of Feast of Tabernacles, day eight, the Last Great Day and The Feast of The Word. If you missed any of the teachings, they will all be professionally published in notebook form. Each notebook will include an audio teaching CD. Notebooks will be on sale or available for pre-order in the marketplace this weekend.
 
Building Fund Update: We have our monthly building fund offering this weekend. So far, we have received $23,241 in the bank. In unfulfilled pledges we have $7434 for a total of $30,675. When giving your offering to the building fund please use a crème colored envelope, making sure to date it. Friday Night Gathering: If you would like to learn more about the connection between the Hebrew Bible and The New Testament, and read the Hebrew Bible from a Messianic viewpoint, please join us as we begin the yearly Torah cycle again. We will begin with Genesis: In The Beginning. Please join us in the War Room this coming Friday, Oct. 25th at 7:30 pm. and be sure to pre-read and prepare to discuss the parashat. FNG Torah Study Notebook: This year, Pastor Joshua has created a Torah Study Notebook for us to use. If you are interested in pre-ordering one for approximately $20-$25, please sign-up in the marketplace on Sunday during Feast of Tabernacles dinner. Please see Leslie with questions.
 
Vision Partner Seminar: If you want to learn more about The River Church and are interested in becoming a Vision Partner, please join us for an informal seminar where our leaders and pastors will present information about our church and allow you an opportunity to ask questions. We’re so glad you’ve joined us tonight; please join us again Saturdays at 6:30pm and join us tomorrow at 6:00 PM for our very special Feast of Tabernacles service.

FALL FEASTS 2019 God’s presence has been amazing so far this Fall Feast season; and we still have Feast of Tabernacles remaining! Due to limited seating, paid registration is required. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tonight, is the final night to register for both Tabernacle Feasts; Day One AND Day Eight Dinner. Nanci and Angel will be in the lobby ready to help you. Celebrations will have anointed worship, raffles, a marketplace and many other things.

Feast of Tabernacles, Day One: Tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 13 at 6:00 pm, doors open at 4:30 pm Registration Required. Adults: $5/ Children (Ages 3-12) $2.50.   Feast of Tabernacles, Day 8 Dinner: Sunday, Oct. 20 at 5:00 pm., doors open at 4:00 pm This will be a catered dinner to celebrate the final day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Sales end tonight. Adults: $18/ Children (3-12): $9. Seating is very limited! Purchase tickets tonight from Nanci Whitney in the lobby. Tonight, is your last chance to get tickets for this event.

We’re so glad you’ve joined us tonight; please join us again Saturdays at 6:30pm and join us Tuesday at 6:30 PM for our very special Day of Atonement service.
 
World Outreach Missions Weekend: Tonight we give our monthly offering for missions to support the work of the Kingdom around the world. To give by cash, check or card, please use a regular and write the amount in the Missions category. If giving by text, text any amount to 360-205-1558, followed by the word missions.

Day of Atonement: The Day of Atonement is the holiest day of God’s calendar. It marks the one day of the year on which the High Priest entered the Holy of Holies and offered a blood sacrifice as an atonement for the sins of the people. It is a rehearsal for the second coming of Yeshua and a prophetic picture of the judgment of the world. God commanded that we celebrate this day throughout all of our generations. There will be a marketplace, raffle, anointed worship, corporate prayer and repentance, teaching and congregational foot washing. Bring your Bible and a prepared heart ready to offer to the Lord.
Congregational Fast: From sundown Tuesday to sundown Wednesday, we will have a congregational fast. No snacks will be provided after service or during children’s ministry for children attending RivercityKids. Parents: please plan accordingly. If you want to feed your child, please do so before coming to service. We want to honor the rights of parents to decide for their children how best to observe Day of Atonement.
 
Fall Feast Scholarship Fund: Please consider contributing to the Fall Feast Scholarship fund to enable those needing financial assistance to attend the Fall Feasts. You can use a regular envelope and place it in the labeled basket on the registration table. Thank you so much for your generosity!
 
Special Teachings: Pastor Joshua will teach us about each of the Fall Feasts during the service prior to each feast. Tonight we will learn about the Day of Atonement Please see the schedule below and attend all services prior to each remaining Fall Feast to get the most of what God has for you in each one!
 
Tuesday Morning Prayer: Due to the service for Day of Atonement on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 8th, there will be no meeting for prayer as usual next Tuesday at 10:00 am. Please join us on Tuesday Oct. 15th.
